Rasool was a “good guy.” He had an internal moral compass, but he realized that it was all relative to himself, so he started to examine what goodness really is. His search led him to the source of all goodness and an understanding of what that means.
Bernice Lee and Tan Soo-Inn understand the pain of losing a spouse. There is hurt, anger, and confusion. Yet their years of questioning and listening to God brought them to a point of understanding that He is always sovereign. We can trust Him even when life gets complicated.
Annahita is an Iranian woman serving as a missionary in Sweden. As a former refugee and prisoner, she’s experienced plenty of hardship, but her heart is tender for those who don’t yet know their Savior. She says, “My life is not for me. It is for Swedish people.”
Fernando got caught up in the drug culture as a youth. It led to a debilitating drug addiction, a destroyed life, and utter hopelessness. One day as he was sleeping on a street corner, a man told Fernando that his underlying problem was sin, and there was only one solution.
Grant Stevenson lived through the intensity of apartheid and still feels the effects of it today. Yet even surrounded by the uncertainty of that changing socio-political system, he knows it was the grace of God that saved the nation from complete chaos.
Moti Vaknin grew up as an Orthodox Jew in Israel, turned his back on religion, and ran away to the United States. Then an encounter with someone who explained the gospel to him changed his whole perspective.
